Friday, June 29, 2007![]() ![]() The Ride Without Limits is a fully supported, one-of-a-kind event for people ready to push their limits and make a true difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities. It's a scenic 200-mile, two-day journey through the Raleigh/Durham area on October 13 & 14 that will change your life and the lives of thousands of people with disabilities. Riders have an option to cycle either 50 or 100 miles each day with an option to end their ride at organized pit stops along the way. As riders roll to a triumphant end to the first half of the 200-mile challenge, they are greeted at camp like heroes with a celebration that includes great food, hot showers, and entertainment. They will have the opportunity to meet children and adults with disabilities and hear their stories, share their experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of how their ride is making a difference. The proceeds from the Ride Without Limits benefit United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) and its North Carolina affiliate, Easter Seals UCP. Easter Seals UCP provides support and services to more than 15,000 children and adults in North Carolina serving all 100 counties across the state. Easter Seals UCP programs help children and adults with cerebral palsy, autism, spina bifida, mental retardation, spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, age related illnesses and much more. United Cerebral Palsy and Easter Seals UCP's goal is to help children and adults with disabilities truly live a life without limits.
