Thursday, February 08, 2007Input / Volunteers Needed: 2007 "Habitat Halloween 100" Habitat for Humanity of Durham needs your help as they gear up for the 4th annual 100k/50k benefit bike ride set for Sat., Oct. 27.
TASK FORCE Volunteers are needed to ensure that this unique Durham-based ride continues and is the most 'spooktacular' it can be. If you're a cyclist or cyclist supporter and can lend your expertise in areas such as the route, publicity, rest stop coordination, sponsors, fundraising... please try to attend a meeting on Tues., Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. at Tyler's Tap Room (located in downtown Durham's American Tobacco Campus) for a session on how to improve, grow and make sure the Halloween 100 continues building homes, hope and community in Durham. Please RSVP by Mon., Feb. 12.
