Durham needs a new Bike/Ped Planner

After leaving her indelible mark on the City of Durham and its bike community, Alison Carpenter is leaving her post as Durham's Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation Planner to work with S.U.R.G.E. We wish her well with the new gig, and we're glad she's still working towards sustainable living.

So, there's a bike/ped planner job available with the City...

from the job description -- "The City of Durham, North Carolina seeks a Transportation Planner with experience in bicycle and pedestrian planning, project management, program development and implementation, and administration of an advisory committee to assist in the transportation planning work unit." Read more on the City's website.

Talented, committed folks please apply.
